The impact we make on our deserving military would never be what it is without the generous and dedicated support of our corporate sponsors.

Our Partners

Investors Trust is the global brand representing the ITA Group of companies. ITA Group is an international group of insurance companies and subsidiaries in multiple jurisdictions around the world which aims to supply investors with access to the global markets through an array of unit-link investment products. They have been a staunch, loyal, and generous supporter of the efforts of ipadsforsoldiers.org in showing gratitude to our deployed and wounded military heroes.

Understanding Risk. Finding Opportunity. Providing Liquidity.
Far away from the hustle and bustle of Wall Street, on an island off the coast of Miami, you will find an investment firm unlike most others. United Capital Markets, Inc. (UCM) specializes in trading the esoteric niche of distressed structured product. With a client roster comprised of blue-chip money managers, mutual funds, insurance companies, Collateralized Bond Obligation (CBO) managers and hedge funds, UCM’s list of clientele grows more impressive every year. In fact, some of the highest ranked bond portfolios in the nation seek out UCM’s expertise. Our services now also extend outside of the United States into Europe.

John Devaney, Founder of “United Capital Markets”, has made a mission of his own to “walk in our soldiers’ boots”. Each Veterans Day, you can find John hiking over 5 miles from his Key Biscayne Island home to his Coconut Grove headquarters with a 40 pound backpack on his back, simulating those of some of our troops. His creative way of showing appreciation on Veterans Days is to put out a challenge to those in his industry on a day the market is typically closed. And when they meet the goal number for trades made on a “closed" market day, he makes a large donation to “ipadsforsoldiers.org" among other military not-for-profits to honor our military! He has been a staunch supporter of our efforts since our inception, and we are so grateful for him!

Crown Royal, originally known as Seagram's Crown Royal, is a blended Canadian whisky brand created by Seagram and owned by Diageo since 2000. When Diageo selected ipadsforsoldiers.org to be a partner in supporting our troops many years ago, Crown Royal stepped up to provide brand-specific support through various financial and participatory means. Most recently, they stepped up in the biggest way to sponsor the design and fabrication of the powerful “Footsteps to Freedom” permanent art installation at Walter Reed Military hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. This is a permanent tribute to our heroes, made possible by the incredible support of our family at Crown Royal and Diageo!

Years ago, our 2-woman grassroots org got a call from Diageo…a global leader in premium drinks with an outstanding collection of beverage alcohol brands across spirits, beer and wine. They heard about the work we were doing on behalf of our military and they offered to partner with us to enhance our mission! We couldn’t believe what a blessing this was, and we eagerly joined with them which instantly multiplied the number of iPads we were able to ship our heroes year after year. This is a company that is truly dedicated to our military. They walk-the-walk and put a very high priority on showing generous and consistent support of our troops. To be partnered with them has been a true honor.

The Diageo brands include the most popular on the shelves…Johnnie Walker, Crown Royal, J&B, Windsor, Buchanan’s and Bushmills whiskies, Smirnoff, Ciroc and Ketel One vodkas, Baileys, Captain Morgan, Jose Cuervo, Tanqueray and Guinness. The Crown Royal team, in particular, has gone above and beyond in sponsoring us to create the powerful “Footsteps to Freedom" installation gifted to Walter Reed military hospital in 2024 (read more about this on our ‘Footsteps to Freedom” page). To say we are grateful for this incredible company and their commitment to us and our military heroes is an understatement. We could never have made the impact that we have without them.
